Klingelnberg-Oerlikon produces spiral bevel gear cutting machines
for the small and mid series, spiral bevel gear grinding machines,
worm and thread grinding machines, tool sharpening and grinding
machines, gear measuring machines and job gearing for spiral
bevel gears.
These
fully automatic CNC controlled gear measuring centers have been
designed for a wide range of workpieces, with max diameter of 260
mm up to a max diameter of 2600 mm.
The measuring centers are suitable
for testing spur and helical gears as well as hobs, shaper- and
shaving cutters, worms and wormgears,
bevel gears and general deviations in dimension, form and location
of rotationsymmetrical workpieces, curve and camshaft measurements
and rotors.
Klingelnberg
palloid and cyclo-palloid spiral bevel gears are renowned for their
quality, a uniform tooth depth over the entire tooth width, a tooth
curvature which follows the path of extended involutes or epicycloids,
high degree of tooth accuracy due to the continuous generating
method, and a longitudinal tooth crowning which can be controlled
to meet individual requirements.
The
automatic worm and thread grinding machines series H with its most
up-to-date CNC controls ensure an extremely high degree of efficiency,
precision and surface finish quality, when profile grinding single
and multi-start worms and other thread type components e.g. screw
compressor rotors or pump rotors in high- and small batch production.
With
the CNC controlled hob sharpening machine Klingelnberg S 31, there
is a machine available which, with regard to quick and simple resetting,
ease of operation, performance and working accuracy, set entirely
new standards for manufacturing and sharpening hobs and similar
precision tools.
The design of the machine is based on a closed
control loop between separate drives of the longitudinally traversing
grinding slide and
the stationary workpiece, thus replacing the gear train – with
indexing plates, change gears, etc. – previously required for
the coordination of rotary workpiece and feed movements.
The
precision and reliability of the Oerlikon OPAL form grinding machines
is based on the know-how of building MAAG gear machinery. The target
of the concept for the entire range of opal machine models is to
provide utmost flexibility and precision in the grinding of spur,
and in particular helical cylindrical gears.
